Native to Southeast Asia this fast-growing lush creeper is enjoyed for its vibrant & beautiful blue flowers & provides ample cover on a lattice, trellis, or fence. As an edible flower it can be brewed into a mild-tasting, calming & gorgeous blue tea that changes color when acidity, i.e. lemon is added. Cook in an omelette or dip in batter to fry, or use as natural food color.

Germinate: Place between soaked paper towels covered in a dark protective space. Keep warm between 70 - 90˚F (21 - 32˚C). Seeds should begin to split or sprout in 10 - 14 days.  

Sow: Place two to three sprouted seeds 1/4  inch (5 mm) in loose soil in a sunny location. Water every morning. Seedlings begin to emerge in approximately 7 - 10 days. 

Grow: 2.5 - 3 ft (0.75 - 1 m) apart in soil or transplant to minimum 20 in (50 cm) pot.
